TB:
After my many years in radio and T.V., Bill Gove and Charlie Cullen encouraged and helped me get started as a speaker.
GS:
What were the 3 biggest obstacles you had to overcome?
TB:
Marketing, marketing, marketing.
GS:
The famous book As a Man Thinketh by James Allen tells us when we "Conquer doubt and fear.we conquer failure." Let me ask you. What is the biggest thing you do to help you conquer doubt and fear?
TB:
My inner spirit tells me to keep advancing, so I set my objectives, make decisions and try not to second guess those decisions. To reinforce my determination and decrease any doubts, my mantra is "So what?" It works like magic!
GS:
What 2 books have influenced you the most? Why?
TB:
How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie.
GS:
What is your greatest Bill Gove story you could share with our readers?
TB:
Bill figures in every advancement of my career. His unselfish sharing, insight and encouragement gave the courage to shoot high.
GS:
You have already made your first million. What advice can you give the rest of us who may still be looking to make our first million?
TB:
Find a specific field and become an expert. Exploit your differences. Buy low and sell high!
GS:
How importantly would you rank mental toughness and the ability to communicate as it relates to your success and why?
TB:
I'm not sure I am mentally tough! Certainly effective communication is the # 1 skill of the leader, manager, salesperson, parent, teacher, preacher, lover or lawyer. And mental toughness allows us to maximize these skills.
GS:

I'm not sure I am mentally tough! Certainly effective communication is the # 1 skill of the leader, manager, salesperson, parent, teacher, preacher, lover or lawyer. And mental toughness allows us to maximize these skills.
GS:
If you had to start over again.what would you NOT do again?
TB:
I would not try to manage my own business this time around. I thought I was a good manager. I am not.
GS:
What is the reason most people don't achieve their major goals and dreams?
TB:
They don't identify their goals and objectives, which means they don't make detailed plans to attain - a lack of action.
GS:
Who were your role models/mentors, and what was it that you saw in them?
TB:

Bill Gove- I always loved his style. He was so giving and encouraging.

Charlie Cullen- He told me I could do what he did. What a boost!

Earl Nightingale-He helped me set goals and achieve them.
